“When I was in high school, I was fortunate enough to be a part of a ‘select team’ that was invited to play in several national and international tournaments. Two of them were UEFA Sanctioned tournaments in Europe (Italy and Spain). This team and experience was the first time I ever had my eyes opened to how special soccer really is. For many, it’s a game. For others, it’s their passion. For me, it’s my world. I have been fortunate enough to play with and against top players, some of whom who have played for their respective national teams and are playing in various leagues all around the world. I have been fortunate enough to meet people of various different nationalities who have become lifelong friends, as well as travel and see the world. I have been able to meet some of my idols, and my life will forever be changed. Ever since I first stepped off the plane in Europe for the first time, I have had a fire within me that I know will never die. That fire pushed me to excel and play at higher levels than anyone thought I ever could and get a glimpse into the professional game. The FM Academy, in addition to helping players develop and compete with our Spanish Methodology, will be an opportunity for players to learn how special soccer truly is.”
